Being Artist Academy Of Film And Theatre Art is the very first and the only one academy in Amravati region, which provide education of Cinema and Theatre Arts. By the realization of need to introspect & explore ourselves to provide further education on large scale the idea of “BEING ARTIST” Academy of Film And Theatre Arts emerged. This Academy is division of “Amravati Spandan Parivar Bahuuudeshiy sanstha.” and the most resulting to provide good technical education, scope & employments to the artists & technicians in film & television media in both private and government sectors regarding to their area of interest like script writing, direction, cinematography, editing, art direction, production etc. at their own home region and there is no need to go to far distant metro cities for further education.

Pankaj Dhandar

Founder & President – Being Artist Academy of Film & Theatre Arts

Pankaj Dhandar is a passionate filmmaker with over 20 years of experience in the field of media – cinema and Performing Arts. As the Founder and President of Being Artist Academy of Film & Theatre Arts, he has directed and produced short films, documentary films, ad films, songs, and feature films focusing on social change and community empowerment.

His vision is to transform raw talent into skilled professionals by providing practical, industry-oriented training in film and theatre. Under his leadership, the Academy has trained numerous students who are now successfully working in media houses, web series, and theatre groups.

Sneha Wasnik

Director – Being Artist Academy of Film & Theatre Arts

Sneha Wasnik is an accomplished professional with a strong background in media education, journalism, leadership development, and social research. Along with her role as the Director of the Academy, she works as a Research Officer with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, contributing to large-scale national projects.

Her expertise lies in training students, guiding women’s empowerment initiatives, and bridging the gap between creativity and career opportunities. With her extensive experience across 22 Indian states, Sneha brings a unique blend of academic knowledge and real-world exposure to the Academy.
